This club (pictured above) has been the toast of the western PRD since opening in 1999. Located in the Changjiang Tourist Area, it has two 18-hole courses; the A course, designed by the JMP Golf Design Group, is built in hilly terrain, and the B course, designed by Schmidt Curly Golf, is flatter but apparently more challenging for low-handicap players. Both consistently appear among the rankings for Asia’s best courses. It is a members-only club, but you can get hotel-guest packages through the Shangri-la.
