One of a cluster of bars at the Overseas Chinese Village, next to the Holiday Inn, the China Box, like the others here, occupies a kind of gray area between seedy pick-up dive and yuppie see-and-be-seen club, which might well be the perfect middle ground at a certain point in the evening. The music is loud and the crowds thin before 10 pm.
