Just down the road from The Cave, Tang is a Guangzhou stab at the opulent high life, and to a certain extent it pulls it off. The richly appointed warren of hallways and floors – first-time guests get lost looking for the
toilets – give you the impression of being in a classy opium den. The main drinking area features a dance floor and stage that gets packed late on weekend evenings. Before 10:00 PM expect Tang to be near-deserted.
