Statistics from the Shenzhen Tourism Bureau show that during the first half of this yea, the city received 29.23 million visitors, up 6.92 per cent year on year. About a third, or 10.69 million, of them spent at least one night in the city, up 11.73 per cent. Revenue from tourists was up 8.63 per cent to 19.839 billion yuan (about US$2.45 billion).
