Zhongshan-Russia trade hit US$130 million, up 27.5 per cent year on year, in the first ten months of this year, the Zhongshan Commercial Daily reported.
Zhongshan's exports to Russia amounted to US$110 million, up 64.6 per cent, while it imported goods worth US$20 million from Russia. Zhongshan’s local private businesses accounted for more than 50 per cent of the city’s exports to Russia, the report said.
The major products that Zhongshan exported to Russia were machines, electronic products, decorative lights and garments, while it imported mainly steel and paper pulp from that country.
