The majestic entrance of this century-old restaurant provides the backdrop for a must-take photo. It was an elite academy before it was transformed into a venue for fine dining by the Kuomintang during the early days of the Republic. It is always packed thanks to a dim-sum menu of more than 200 items – don’t panic, it has all the familiar favorites too.
