Guangzhou International Lighting

June 8-11: Organized by Messe Frankfurt, this is the biggest lighting fair in Asia. Needless to say, it is a dazzling show, and this year features a special hall for ìelectrical building automation productsî and systems.

Modernshop China

June 20-22: After its debut last year, it was decided to make this an annual event. A bit of a catch-all for a variety of professions related to the building trade, exhibitors include: engineers, purchasing officials, municipal technical staff, environmental experts, consultancy, advisory and engineering firms, technical press, installation firms, power operators, architects, distributors, designers, town planners, and landscape planners.

China Logistics Expo

June 20-22: For manufacturers and suppliers in the logistics industry, particularly in warehousing, storage, transportation, distribution and total supply chain management.

RFID China

June 20-22:

Apparently, this is the only exhibition of RFID technology and applications in China. The organizers say ìmajorî global RFID players have been attracted by the potential of Chinaís market. RFID involves the use of electronic tags to track goods through a supply chain, or even within a single shop.

Guangzhou Commercial Vehicle Exhibition

June 20-22: Focused on automotive supply industry components, accessories and service equipment, this show is starting to gain a higher profile now that Guangzhou is becoming a bigger player in the automotive industry, thanks to the Japanese brands that have been investing heavily in the city in recent years.

Hosfair

June 28-30: The Guangzhou International Hospitality Supplies and Facilities Expo apparently incorporates the largest collection of hospitality-related exhibitors in the country. There will also be food courts, stalls, and demonstration areas where visitors can sample the latest foods and flavors, coffees and other drinks.

China Building & Decoration Fair

July 6-9:

This fair has become increasingly important for interior designers, retailers and manufacturers. According to its organizers, it features color forecasts, emerging product finishes, future fabric and industry themes.

July 7-9:

Claims to be Chinaís ìonly truly internationalî wine, beer and spirits exhibition.
